Mezzanine Manufacturing:

This manufacturing firm is a fast growing company that, like most of us, was quickly running out of floor space.  They wondered if they could take some existing horizontal production and convert it to vertical production. 

Together we designed a triple deck vertical (Prest) manufacturing system which saved 3,000 square feet of floor space.  The deck capacity was designed at 125 psf (pounds per square foot) with specific 'equipment areas' bolstered to accommodate 4 ton machines. Monorail 'high speed' hoist cranes (by Harrington) were incorporated to facilitate lifting 2 tons each of raw materials to the top level for manufacturing.

This project afforded instant payback for our customer (in floor space savings) as well as streamlining an already efficient manufacturing method by utilizing gravity to speed up their manufacturing process.
